What is it?

In an idyllic family cottage, strangled by woods and crashing tides, we explore what it takes for an ordinary father to sacrifice everything he holds dear.

The fear of something slow but inevitable, something lurking within the darkness of the woods, approaching beneath the waves that surround you. When night falls, you can almost see it across the lake; and it's looking right back at you. It's here where a father must face his failures or be devoured by them.

Inspiration

At its heart, Lure is a uniquely twisted re-imagining of The Binding of Isaac for a modern audience. The Old Testament depicts Abraham, charged by God, to sacrifice his only son to prove his faith. In our tale, we beg the question; What if it wasn't God, who was asking?
